Aly Cook nominated for Female Country Artist of the Year

Aly Cook nominated for New Zealand Female Country Artist of the Year.
After an amazing 12 months Aly Cook is a final nominee for New Zealand Female Artist of the Year 2012 at the National Country Music Awards, to be held in Hamilton on the 11th of August.
The previous 12 months have seen Aly travel and perform several times in Australia and in the UK and France. In May she travelled to Musicoz Independent Awards, held at the Sydney Opera House, as a finalist in the International Section.
Her single Midnight Sun enjoyed extensive airplay across Australia spending 11 weeks on the Top 30 Country Tracks Chart reaching #12 as well as several other independent airplay charts in Australia.
Aly has also performed in NZ at the Nelson Jazz Blues Festival and Wildfoods & Tekapo with the Coalrangers who are also nominated for Group of the Year.
Aly's latest single Country Storm is releasing to Australian radio in July and has already been added to the largest Country Network Stations in Australia and promised to be a great follow up to her last single. The new video can be viewed here http://youtu.be/rbMcW_eh0l8
August also sees Aly's album "Brand New Day" added to the in-flight entertainment program for Air New Zealand. The album is now available nationwide through The Warehouse.
