Nationwide talent search for Christmas musical extravaganza!

Do you have what it takes to be part of one of New Zealand’s biggest Christmas musical spectaculars?

The producers of Coca-Cola Christmas in the Park, now in its 19th year, are searching the nation for this year’s most talented new stars to perform in the popular Christmas musical production.
Artistic producer Kate Ward-Smythe is looking for exciting new talent to perform alongside some of the nation’s most well-known and celebrated entertainers both at the two live concerts and in the primetime TV3 broadcast.

Aspiring performers are encouraged to apply to audition online by submitting photos, video footage or a recording with their audition application. This will serve as the first stage of the audition process and if the producers are impressed, the applicant will be invited to attend one of the audition workshops being held in Auckland in late July and Christchurch in early August.

Says Ms Ward Smythe, ”Each year we’re impressed by the number of incredibly gifted people, from all over the country, discovered through the online auditions. Coca-Cola Christmas in the Park provides a unique and wonderful opportunity for talented newcomers to perform alongside a star studded line-up of some of New Zealand’s best entertainers.”

So if you think you have what it takes to share the stage with some of New Zealand’s biggest stars go to www.christmasinthepark.co.nz and click “online auditions”. Your dream could become a reality!

Ends.
