INERTIATWENTY12 set to bring the party to Youth Week
Do you want to hear the hottest sounds out?
Hutt City Council is joining forces with local organisations and radio station 90.9ZM to bring the INERTIATWENTY12 youth dance party to the Lower Hutt Town Hall on Friday 25 May as part of national Youth Week celebrations.
The dance party will run from 8pm until midnight and will feature top New Zealand DJs Bulletproof and Jaycee Project as well as local up-and-coming DJ Nishy P. The event is a strictly supervised drug and alcohol free event for young people aged 13+.
Hutt City Mayor Ray Wallace said the dance party is a great opportunity for young people to enjoy a good time safely.
"The Town Hall will be kitted out with a professional sound and lighting system that will allow the DJs to showcase their talent," he said.
"The young ones will be happy with the cool setup and mums and dads will be happy knowing their kids are in a safe supervised environment."
Door sales only on the night and at a cost of only $10 each demand is expected to be high.
No pass outs will be given and buses will be available free of charge to safely drop young people home at the end of the evening.
