Kiwis selling out: Urzila Carlson and Rhys Darby add extra shows

The Festival hasn’t even opened yet (that will take place tomorrow with the Comedy Gala), yet the 2012 NZ International Comedy Festival is pleased to announce extra show due to popular demand.

Kiwi comedian (by way of South Africa) Urzila Carlson has sold-out the Auckland season of her show, I’m Going To Need A Second Opinion, running at the Vault in Q Theatre from the 1st – 5th of May. Such has been the public demand for the 7 Days regular that we’re announcing through this here method of correspondence that an extra show has been announced! The additional show will take place Saturday 5 May @ 5:15pm, but this time at the Loft at Q Theatre. Tickets are on sale now.

With only a few seats left for his solo show This Way to the Spaceship, NZ Comedy Legend Rhys Darby is also adding an extra night to his Auckland season performing Friday 11 May at 5pm at SKYCITY Theatre.

And tickets for Rhys Darby’s extra show go on sale at 9am Friday 27 April.
