A World Class Landscape Exhibition
Step back and marvel at the magnificent images showcasing New Zealand as we love to see it in a new light.
Leading landscape photographers from New Zealand and overseas will exhibit the very best of New Zealand landscape
photography during the Auckland Festival of Photography.
Director of the Contemporary Photography Foundation, Ronald Winstone, believes this exhibition is the first of its kind
and that “the grandeur images reflect the greatest achievements of New Zealand photography to date, and illustrate what
can be created with state of the art equipment and reproduction techniques”. This single exhibition is truly bringing
together world class landscape photographers.
The lineup of photographers is highly impressive with some of New Zealand’s very best professional photographers and
includes: Winners of the NZ Landscape Photographer of the year and Winners of the Australian Landscape Photographer of
the year.
Michel Langford and Jackie Rankin of Queenstown, Andre Apse of Westland, John Doonan Christchurch, and from Auckland
Harry Janseen, Michel Perrin Mike Hollman and Reubin Price. Fletcher Christian and Ken Duncan from Australia. Kevin
Rankin USA and even more from as far away as England. Included are some of New Zealand’s pioneered landscape photographs
produced by Rev Dr. John Kinder dating back to the 1860s.
The exhibition is presented by Kinder House and the Contemporary Photography Foundation; which thrives to foster the
enjoyment and profile of photography in New Zealand.
