Have a real adventure these school holidays
Spaces left on the OPC Holiday Action Challenge
10th-14th April – but get in quick
Don’t let these school holidays pass in a fog of PlayStation and boredom. Get out of the house, have a real adventure and learn some cool new tricks.
Caving, surf kayaking, abseiling, rock climbing, sailing – these are the kinds of missions you could be going on at the Sir Edmund Hillary Outdoor Pursuits Centre of New Zealand (OPC) these holidays.
OPC offers a five-day live-in school holiday programme at its bases at Tongariro and Great Barrier Island. It’s for 14 to 18 year olds, and no previous outdoor experience is needed – just a willingness to give it a go and have some fun.
Bring your friends or make some new ones, while you explore rivers, lakes, mountains, the bush and the sea.
There are still spaces, but get in quick. For the 5 days Holiday Action Challenge it costs $615 per person, and that includes all your food, accommodation, instructing and equipment.
See www.opc.org.nz or call 0800 OUT THERE.
