The capital's premier stand up comedy competition for exciting RAW comedy talent is back.
With only 6 minutes of original material to impress the judges, this can be the first step on the path to becoming a
professional comedian. Every competitor will join a long list of Kiwis vying to become the National Raw Comedy Quest
champion.
Any new comedy talent is welcome to enter - contact@humorous.co.nz to enter any of the HEATS.
The Wellington winner and runner up are flown to Auckland to compete in the National Raw Comedy Quest finals, the
biggest comedy competition in New Zealand.
Previous Wellingtonians to have gone on to become National winners include Cori Gonzalez-Macuer, Jerome Chandrahasen,
Sarah Harpur and Cameron Murray.
Four heats, two semifinals, one Wellington final, one national final, $2000 in prize money, one winner.
