Wellington Firebirds squad to play Otago Volts in Ford Trophy Eighth round

The Wellington Firebirds team to play the Otago Volts in Round Eight of the Ford Trophy domestic One-Day competition at Queen’s Park in Invercargill on Wednesday 1 February is:

Grant Elliott (Captain, Naenae Old Boys)
Harry Boam (Karori)
Josh Brodie (Eastern Suburbs)
James Franklin (Wellington Collegians)
Mark Gillespie (North City)
Scott Kuggeleijn (Wellington Collegians)
Andy McKay (Karori)
Stephen Murdoch (Karori)
Michael Papps (Wellington Collegians)
Jeetan Patel (Eastern Suburbs)
Jesse Ryder (Naenae Old Boys)
Luke Woodcock (Johnsonville)

There are two changes to the Wellington Firebirds team that beat the Auckland Aces on Sunday for this final round Ford Trophy clash.

Josh Brodie and Jesse Ryder replace Craig Cachopa and Michael Pollard.

Michael Papps will be the wicketkeeper
