National Library Buys Kelvin Hayes Back Catalogue

National Library Buys Kelvin Hayes Back Catalogue

Good news! The National Library of New Zealand has purchased all currently available e-books of Welsh/Kiwi writer Kelvin Hayes from Lulu.com.
Most of these works are in the field of poetry, save the short stories book Beats Per Minute.

This is the latest in the continued support of the library whom first purchased the New Zealand only release NZEP back in the late nineties.
At this time, there are plans to issue the books on Amazon Kindle in the near future. This would include the 10th anniversery editon of traveloge Voyage of Nomad (originally released in Wellington in August 2001) and the two books in waiting: photobook Birds of our Neighbourhood and the new travelogue Year Amid Winter.

The nomad book is aptly named as Hayes has based himself in Auckland, Istanbul, London, Bangkok and Beijing in the past year alone!
The library's purchase is therefore a welcome cash boost in a series of natural glitches that have prevented work from the Bangkok floods to the Chinese New Year. It is not yet certain when the books will be available to read but those interested in purchasing themselves can do so at:
