Kiwi's Cross the Ditch for Tamworth New Zealand Spectacular

New Zealand Country Music Artists will be crossing the Tasman Next Week to perform at the Famed Tamworth Country Music Week.


The New Zealand Spectacular will featuring Craig Robertson, Aly Cook, Kaylee Bell, Vickie Evans (2011 Senior N Z Gold Guitar winner), Katie Mason (Intermediate Gold Guitar winner ), Zoe Scott (junior Gold Guitar winner ), Lanae Hill (40plus Gold Guitar winner ) Arianne Baker, Russell Mead, Ron Gallagher, Glenise Terry, Lance Murch, Mihi Murch, Cameron Scott, Vivi Cossland (2011 Junior Entertainer of the Year winner), Phoebe Ball (2011 Senior Entertainer of the Year winner).


One artist invited to perform is Nelson based recording artist Aly Cook, who has just released her second single Midnight Sun. Aly will be LIVE on the breakfast show on the official Volkswagon Amarok Festival Radio FM 101.5 next Wed Morn LIVE to air in Tamworth 7.45am Then perform on Tamworth Songwriters stage at 10am followed by The New Zealand Spectacular Showcase at the Capital Theatre at 2.00pm. This is pretty typical of a day for an artist at Australia's biggest country music week at Tamworth.


There is no rest on Cook's return to Nelson, she goes straight from the Airport into sound check with Sharon O'Neill as a backing vocalist along with fellow Nelsonian's Chrissie Small & Simon Williams on Saxaphone who will join with Alan Mansfield (Dragon & ex Robert Palmer Band) and the Glen Shorrock Band to Back Sharon O'Neill at Brightwater Food & Wine Festival on the 29th of January.
