Is The New Zealand Family In Peril?

Is The New Zealand Family In Peril?

In recent decades many policy changes have been seen to be disadvantageous to the family, even families of non-traditional composition. So we ask ourselves, what shape is the New Zealand family in? Is it getting smaller? Does it depend on traditional structures such as marriage? Do governments give an adequate level of support to families?

To seek answers to such questions, we are pleased to welcome Emeritus Professor Ian Pool, one of this country’s foremost demographers, to be In Conversation with Noel Cheer on Triangle/Stratos Television

Stratos Television, Nationwide: Monday December 19th at 8:00pm (repeated Wednesday, December 21st at 6:30am and Thursday, December 22nd at 1:00pm).

Stratos is found on Sky Digital Channel 89 and Freeview Channel 21.
Stratos is found also on Telstraclear Cable Channel 89 in Wellington, Kapiti and Christchurch and nationwide on the streaming television website ecasttv.co.nz
Triangle Television, Auckland (UHF Channels 41, 42 and 52): Wednesday December 21st at 7:00pm (repeated Thursday December 22nd at 1:00pm)
