Broadcaster Announces Departure from “The Nation”

Broadcast Journalist Sean Plunket has announced he will not be returning to host “The Nation” on TV3 next year.

Plunket says he has enjoyed working on the Frontpage produced and NZONAIR funded programme for the past year and a half.

“I am particularly proud of the longer format one on one studio interviews we have produced in the past year including conversations with John Key, Phil Goff, Roger Kerr and Professor James Belich,” Plunket said.

While he continues to present morning talkback on Newstalk ZB in Wellington and is writing regular columns for the Dominion Post and Metro Magazine, Plunket says he is looking for new challenges and opportunities in television.
