Rollins is one of the most inspiring and interesting commentators and entertainers of his generation. His curiosity to learn from new experiences, combined with a hunger for travel, shape anecdotes that connect with audiences worldwide.
Rollins is a solitary, insatiable traveller – recent destinations include North Korea, Mongolia, Bhutan, Vietnam, India, Tibet, Sudan, Uganda, Cuba and Haiti (where locals struggling are still struggling from the earthquake two years ago).
This year has also seen the release of his book Occupants, a collection of his own essays and photos; the continuation of his weekly eclectic radio show on KCRW, the filming of a new TV series for National Geographic about those who own and consume exotic creatures; as well as finding time to perform at European festivals.
