Soul star Hollie Smith joins talent packed line-up for
Coca-Cola Christmas in the Park!
International recording artist, award winning singer/songwriter Hollie Smith will join the star-studded cast of next week’s Coca-Cola Christmas in the Park, being held at the Auckland Domain on Saturday 10 December.
The platinum recording star, best known for the chart topping single, Bathe in the River, will join some of Australasia’s most talented performers in a show the organisers have described as “an absolutely spectacular show, bursting with energy, jam packed with talent and topped off with fantastic fireworks and special effects!”
The popular free event, now in its 18th year, will star pop rock band The Earlybirds, rapper Young Sid, the cast of hit musical Jersey Boys, Vince Harder, MASSAD, Michael Murphy and Ainslie Allen who’ll be accompanied by renowned ukulele player, Marian Burns.
The much loved “godparents” of Coca-Cola Christmas in the Park, Frankie Stevens and Jackie Clarke will share the big stage with dynamic back-up trio Sharon Emirali, Ellen Kuiper and Cameron Clayton together with dancers from Identity Dance Crew, Diamond Entertainment, Monroe, Royal Family, Indiance and the Glenfield College Bollywood Troupe.
Choreographed by Turanga Merito, who starred as Simba in The Lion King, and costumed by Estelle Macdonald, the Christmas musical extravaganza will feature over 250 singers, dancers and musicians and is expected to draw a crowd of over 200,000.
This year Coca-Cola Christmas in the Park continues to support Surf Life Saving New Zealand in their efforts to ensure Kiwi s have a safe summer at the beach.
