Allen makes quick transition from track to road for Taupo
race with SUBWAY® Pro Cycling
25 November 2011
Jason Allen has to make a quick transition from track racing to road racing as part of a strong SUBWAY® Pro Cycling line-up for the Contact Lake Taupo Classic road race tomorrow.
Allen has been racing in the Oceania Track Championships in Invercargill that he capped off with a fine win in last night’s Madison event racing with Southland’s Tom Scully.
Earlier he had finished third in the omnium event behind his SUBWAY® Pro Cycling team-mate Westley Gough.
Allen is joined at the Contact Lake Taupo Classic road race by Nick Lovegrove, Matt Gorter, Sam Horgan and Paul Odlin in the 160 kilometre race around the country’s largest lake.
