Fantine to perform final show of 2011 then join Stevie Nicks' Australian tour

After a successful tour of Australia and New Zealand, young indie electro soul singer Fantine has returned to Sydney for her final show of the year. Performing her second single Eleven at 11:11 p.m. on 11/11/11 at Upstairs Beresford, Fantine’s Eleven delves into the superstition and mysticism of the number “Eleven.”

Right after her final show on 11/11/11 at Upstairs Beresford, Fantine will hit the road and travel throughout Australia as support vocalist for Dave Stewart (Eurythmics) who is the special guest on the Stevie Nicks In Your Dreams Tour. Fantine will support Dave Stewart as he performs hits from both his solo career and Eurythmics.

2011 has been busy for Fantine. In addition to the release of her first two singles, “Rubberoom” and “Eleven,” recording her upcoming single with Gorillaz producer Jason Cox in Studio 13 co-owned by Damon Albarn, and a support slot for Daniel Merriweather, Fantine headlined her first ever tour of Australia and New Zealand.

Fantine first came onto the Australian scene in 2010 as guest vocalist and co-writer with Space Invadas ( featuring Katalyst and Steve Spacek) which included performances at Days Like This, Playground Weekender, Future Music, Golden Plains, Splendour In The Grass, and support slots with Lupe Fiasco, taking the stage solo has come naturally to Fantine .
