Cancellation of ‘An argument about Film and Television’
Media Release – October 2011 –
Cancellation of ‘An argument about Film and
Television’
New Zealand loves Film and
Television but they love the Rugby more!
Due to the large number of visitors wishing to experience the regular exhibits in The Cloud on Queen's Wharf, the NZ 2011 Office regrets to advise that the The Enemy Ltd event 'Argument about Film and Television', which was scheduled to take place in The Cloud at 12pm this Saturday 22 October, has had to be cancelled.
The Cloud has experienced an unprecedented increase in the number of weekend visitors and family groups coinciding with the school holidays.
Leon Grice, Director NZ 2011 Office states “Film and television is a vital and dynamic part of New Zealand, and The REAL New Zealand Festival are proud to support this industry, both through the Film showcase that took place in The Cloud on Monday and Tuesday this week, and also through the New Zealand On Screen experience”
Part of the REAL New Zealand Festival, New Zealand On Screen is a showcase of New Zealand’s film and television industry, celebrating Kiwi screen icons from Billy T to Boy, from Gloss to Goodbye Pork Pie. It is open daily on Queen's Wharf, Auckland.
Oliver Driver from THE ENEMY LTD states “although we love arguing about film and television we look forward to watching the game and we will look to hold this event at a later date”.
