Spring powder Mini Mountain Beats on the Plaza
Spring powder Mini Mountain Beats on the Plaza
Good news - Yesterday morning gave us our first significant fall in some time with a slather of cold dry snow on the upper half of the mountain. Delicious turns could be found across both basins. With the wind dropping mid morning everyone flocked to the Saddle and made the hike to the summit. Being rewarded with some classic TC fresh lines.
With the
cold temps over night this will be starting to bond and mix
with the old snow underneath and see the Saddle and parts of
the Home basin in good winter conditions. Lightspring on
the remainder as the sun in the forecast for the weekend
kicks in. The groomed runs will be the early morning pick
then move out and explore. We are now set up with a great
covering to take us through our last few weeks of Spring!

BEATS on the plaza deck
It's definitley spring,
daffodils are out in the valley - making the plaza is the
place to be. To reinforce that from now until closing we
will be having Wanaka Beats providing tunes each weekend in
the early afternoon. Let's make the most of the next few
eeks of the season.
