Just a quick note to let you know that today is the online launch of my book : Telesā:The Covenant Keeper . A Young Adult urban fantasy romance set in modern day Samoa that draws on the legends of teine Sa (but with a huge amount of creative license and imagination.) It's a novel filled with action, intrigue, elements of the supernatural and some romance thrown in for good measure. It's available for electronic download in a variety of formats from two online bookstores, Smashwords and Amazon priced at $5.99. The print copy of the book will be launched in Samoa in October and will also be available for purchase via Amazon.com.

From Washington D.C, comes Leila, in search of family,a place to belong. Instead she finds her destiny and it threatens to tear her apart. There is the bewitching call of a telesa sisterhood and there is Daniel. Will Leila embrace her birthright or will she choose the one who offers her his love with a smile and dancing green eyes? Will Daniel be the element that gentles the fire of the Telesa? Or must love burn at the altar of the telesa covenant?

I believe there is a need for more Young Adult fiction with a Pacific flavor and that readers the world over are ready for something different (beyond the usual vampires and werewolves...) I hope that they can find it in my book.
