International Rugby Greats Go Live With Videocasts On 'This Is The Game'
Heineken has launched the first installment of Heineken's inaugural Rugby World Cup 2011online video series, entitled 'This is the Game'.
The videocasts , www.youtube.com/watch?v=Au_23F8bBCE, features Heineken's Rugby World Cup 2011 ambassadors and former legends of the game Will Carling, Scott Quinnell, Zinzan Brooke, Rob Henderson and Matt Burke who discuss news, views and predictions for the Tournament as well as sharing stories from their own playing careers.
The legends will film a further seven light-hearted and off-the-cuff videocasts on a weekly basis, culminating with an episode in Auckland ahead of the Rugby World Cup 2011 Final on October 23rd and a Tournament review piece. Hosted by Will Carling, all clips are available to view on Heineken International's YouTube channel and Facebook page.
In the first videocast the ambassadors debate whether the best team always win the Rugby World Cup 2011. Former New Zealand great Zinzan Brooke believes South Africa weren't the best team in the world when they won the Webb Ellis Trophy in 1995 and 2007 while die-hard Aussie Matt Burke admits that, "no doubt, New Zealand are the best team in the world" at present.
The ambassadors also comment on the 'love hate relationship' between Quade Cooper and Richie McCaw while Irishman Rob Henderson recounts training with hard-tackler Trevor Leota and the fact the Samoan was banned from contact training at Wasps!
