Kiwi cocktails are keeping up with the Kardashians
Kiwi cocktail company, VnC Cocktails, is set to make a cameo appearance on the international reality show, ‘Keeping up with the Kardashians’ this coming week.
The episode will be screened in New Zealand next Tuesday evening, 13 September and will feature Scott Disick – playboy turned family man, and partner of one of the show’s stars, Kourtney Kardashian. Affectionately branded as ‘the guy you love to hate’, Disick recently invested in the Kiwi cocktail brand, which has been a hot topic of conversation among the show’s stars.
Kourtney Kardashian was apprehensive about his association with alcohol given a past association with alcohol abuse. It also didn’t win him any favours with Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner, but the rest of the Kardashian sisters reportedly love the VnC Cocktails and are fully supportive of Scott’s involvement.
VnC Cocktails was founded by Kiwi Shane McKillen in 2007. Disick tried the ready to serve cocktail brand in New York earlier this year and loved the concept and taste. Entrepreneurial Scott tracked down the Kiwi owner through some mutual contacts and his involvement in the brand has blossomed from there. The cocktails – natural fruit combined with vodka or tequila – are now sold in 30 countries worldwide.
Disick, whose favourite VnC flavour is Pacific Mai Tai, will act as a brand ambassador for VnC Cocktails. Research for the position has already begun with enjoying a few beachside drinks in Bora Bora key to understanding the cocktail ambassador role. The episode will air on E! Channel, Tuesday 13 September and rumours of a visit to New Zealand continue to circulate.
