Temepara George joins SKY Sport On-Air Netball Team
SKY Sport are delighted to announce recently retired Silver Fern Temepara George as part of their Netball presenting team for the upcoming two test series against England in October.
Senior Netball Producer Rob Douglas says the addition of George to Sky Sport’s line-up for the international series against England will add yet another layer of depth to what already is a strong commentary and presenting team, chock full of former international players.
“Temepara was, without a doubt, one of the stars of this years’ ANZ Championship and Netball World Champs, so who better to give fresh insights into the inner workings of the Silver Ferns and their tactics on court, than the most recently retired member of our national team.”
“The Silver Ferns played England just last month in Singapore at the World Champs, so Temepara knows the players, coaching style and has a fair idea of what the England team will bring to our shores to try and topple the Ferns”
The opening netball test match between New Zealand and England will be LIVE on SKY Sport, Monday October 3 at the Trusts Stadium Arena in Waitakere. Invercargill hosts the second and final test match LIVE on SKY Sport at Stadium Southland on Thursday October 6.
