Winning Trophy and Medals at BrewNZ Awards
The Tui Brewery Ltd from small town Mangatainoka added to its big reputation, when it collected more than just the
judge’s nod of approval at BrewNZ Awards in Wellington. Mangatainoka’s finest, have won Gold and Silver Medals as well
as a Grand Category Trophy award.
The Tui Brewery’s East India Pale Ale (affectionately known as Tui) was awarded top honours with a Gold Medal and in
doing so took out the Trophy for ‘New Zealand’s Best Draught Beer’ for a third successive year. Being a great drop might
just be the reason why Tui is New Zealand’s most popular beer brand.
The Tui Brewery’s other quality drop, Tui Blond Lager, received another BrewNZ Award, following up lasts year Gold Medal
and Crowning as New Zealand’s Best Lager, with a Silver Medal in the New Zealand Lager & Premium Lager Styles Category.

credentials of New Zealand’s most popular beer brand.

HQ in Mangatainoka, alongside a few other awards collected since Tui won 1st Prize at the Palmerston North A Show in 1904.”
