In August the Burton Open brings the best snowboarders in the world to Cardrona. After a week of hectic on-snow competition it¹ll be time to party, and what better way than to show the world¹s best riders our best music. Nestled between the stunning alpine ranges and only minutes from NZs adventure capital is the impressive Queenstown Events Centre. This venue will play host to a combination of heavy-hitters never before seen in the Lakes Area, with live performances from:

Headlined by the undisputed champions of Kiwi rock, the-one-the-only Shihad. Since 1988 they have taken our sound to the world by producing a string of hits keeping them at no.1. This winter they bring their best to New Zealand¹s winter paradise. Joining them for this one-off show is the mighty Kora, these Whakatane brothers will blow your mind with their electric live show; a unique fusion of rock, reggae, space funk and dub step. Shining light through the dark winter and warming your soul is Queenstown¹s own DJ Downtown Brown with MCs KPZ and Stauny of the infamous Sunshine Sound System. Finally, with a decade of experience behind him DJ/Producer Optimus Gryme is one of New Zealand's leading dub step artists and will close the party in a storm of beats and an avalanche of bass. Alongside Aotearoa¹s lyrical master and original dub soldier Tiki Taane.
