Don't brave the elements this winter; let Peter Gordon treat you to a restaurant quality meal from his new Beehive Craft
Series by Peter Gordon range, cooked in the comfort of your own home.
The brand new products come in two mouth-watering variations, both featuring succulent chunks of slow cooked boneless
pork in Peter Gordon's restaurant inspired sauces. The Beehive Craft Series by Peter Gordon Spicy Moroccan Braised Pork
and Red Wine and Sage Braised Pork have been crafted to the highest quality and slow cooked so that only minimal
preparation is needed before you enjoy a winter feast.
"I wanted to take Beehive Craft Series by Peter Gordon to the next level and provide an innovative way for people to
think about cooking with pork, beyond pork chops and roasts. These new products offer home cooks the promise of a
delicious, slow cooked, hearty winter meal without the hours of preparation and cooking time that usually entails," says
Peter.
"A casserole dish and 30 minutes is all you need. Serve simply with vegetables, over rice, couscous or mashed potatoes."
Both variants are made in the Wairarapa from 100% New Zealand pork, accompanied by unique sauces with unrivalled
flavour, lovingly crafted by Peter Gordon himself.
The products come with specially designed serving suggestions by Peter on the pack so that aspiring chefs can add their
magic touch to the end dish. To serve up a moreish Moroccan feast, add a drained can of chickpeas to the Spicy Moroccan
Braised Pork before cooking and serve over couscous with yoghurt and coriander. Or simply add the Red Wine and Sage
Braised Pork to a shallow dish and cover with puff pastry to create the perfect pie.
The initial launch of Beehive Craft Series by Peter Gordon was the first step in a journey for Premier Beehive to create
more adventurous serving suggestions using pork. For the first release, Peter crafted five unique 100% New Zealand pork
products; Juicy Smoked Bacon Lardons, Maple and Nutmeg Middle Bacon, Honey Soy Marinated Pork Ribs, Cajun Spiced
Marinated Pork Ribs and Twice cooked, Five Spiced Pork Belly.
These new offerings are another way for home cooks to take Peter Gordon home this winter and create delectable
restaurant quality meals without the fuss.
"Everything about the Beehive Craft Series Braised Pork has been carefully crafted to create an innovative and exciting
new product unlike anything currently available. My focus was to produce something that is high quality, delicious and
packed full of flavour, while still being quick and easy to cook at home."
Beehive Craft Series by Peter Gordon Braised Pork is available in all good supermarkets in the North Island from
mid-July.
