No Use For A Name will play NZ this July:
WELLINGTON - Thursday, July 21 @ San Francisco Bathhouse, [R18]
With support from; Black Lick - The Wellington based smashing punk rock 'n' roll band and None Left Standing - 4 dudes from Christchurch playing honest NZ Punk Rock. With the live scene of their hometown Christchurch being dampened with earthquakes, NLS have taken the opportunity to focus on writing their second album and are stoked to be able to play live with No Use For A Name!
Tickets available from ALC Cuba Street (Wellington), and www.undertheradar.co.nz
AUCKLAND - Friday, July 22 @ King's Arms Tavern [R18]
With support from Broken Avenue - The North Shore, Auckland band have a distinctive approach to writing heavy music with a solid mixture of melodic hooks, pop punk riffs, energetic beats and a twist of modern metalcore breakdowns and Roofdog - The West Auckland band play a unique brand of ska/punk. From the politically conscious lyrics of ‘Drop the Bomb’ to dance floor favourite ‘Dance to the Moon’, Roofdog’s guitar driven sound has been described as being influenced by The Clash, in their later years, and ‘80s ska acts like The Specials. Both bands are tickled pink to be playing with No Use For A Name!
Tickets available from Real Groovy (Auckland) and www.undertheradar.co.nz
