From Farm to City – Hyundai Code Scales New Heights
HYUNDAI CODE talks about climbing mountains, Rugby World Cup 2011 and farm life this week.
Former top cricketer Adam Parore is back from his trip to the Himalayas where he climbed the world’s highest peak, Mt Everest, last month. He is joined on the HYUNDAI CODE couch by former All Black captain Ian Kirkpatrick in the lead up to Rugby World Cup 2011.
This week is the second to last Mana Shield challenge and so we are doing things a bit different. Competition is heating up between the Bros – Oz and KT – and the Freshies – Awen and Ruben – and is set to get hotter with tomorrow night’s dance extravaganza being shot live in the studio.
Tune in Thursday night to see who wins the dance battle and who has to undergo the loser’s consequence of dancing “show girls” style, complete with feathers and leotards, live on the HYUNDAI CODE set with support from Diamond Entertainment.
Also in this week’s episode, “farmer Oz” and All Black legend Sir Colin Meads head to Fieldays at Mystery Creek in Hamilton to show the farmers what’s what and find out whether the All Blacks have the grunt to win Rugby World Cup 2011 now that there are no farmers in the squad.
See how the two former All Blacks tear it up with chainsaws and give viewers a chance to win their own awesome STIHL chainsaw.
Meanwhile, Awen and Wairangi check out The Legendary Nation, a Chinese performing arts show, and catch up with a couple of kung fu artists who teach them a bit about the ancient martial art. But since neither of the two can speak Chinese, it adds a whole new meaning to being “lost in translation”.
You can also check out this week’s up and coming band, The Hypnotics, performing live on set with their R’n’B flows.
