Sunday is for … LIVING, a new magazine in the Herald on Sunday
This week Herald on Sunday is launching something special – a new magazine called Living that reflects what Kiwis love doing on Sundays.
From June 12, this new magazine will give readers weekly ideas on how to enjoy the most relaxing day of the week even more.
Readers told us they wanted a magazine that blended the best of our travel and food stories, property and real estate information pieces, with new articles on gardening, DIY, health and fitness. They also wanted to know the best places to eat and drink with friends and family, and ideas for fun things to do and places to go.
Our readers also asked for recipes that were easier to cook, simple projects, and ideas for outings and holidays within their reach. We have responded with Living, in which new columnists will pass on their skills and inspiration, joining favourite contributors Wendyl Nissen, books editor Nicky Pellegrino and restaurant reviewer Peter Calder.
Living is being launched by our new assistant editor (magazines) Estelle Sarney, who last year launched Weekend magazine in the Weekend Herald to an overwhelmingly positive response.
Awareness for this exciting new publication will be created with a multi-media campaign across press, online, magazines, radio and outdoor supported by point of sale and sampling activity. Readers can also be in to win a trip for two to Sydney with Tourism New South Wales.
“Living offers advertisers a variety of targeted, uplifting environments to reach the Herald on Sunday’s large audience of relaxed Sunday readers on a day they love to shop” says Greg Hornblow, General Manager Advertising.
Make sure you don’t miss the Herald on Sunday this weekend, after all - Sunday is for Living.
