Celebrating 100 Years Of Rugby League At Ruben
Wiki’s Old Club
HYUNDAI CODE joins in on the centenary celebrations of Ruben Wiki’s old club, the Otahuhu Leopards, on this week’s show.
Among others, Ruben catches up with former Kiwi captain Hugh McGahan and former Kiwi coach Graham Lowe, both stalwarts of the club.
McGahan, who played 53 tests for the Kiwi’s, 17 as captain and over 100 games for the Sydney Roosters, is also on the HYUNDAI CODE couch this week along with New Zealand touch legend Pete Walters and 16-year-old Touch Blacks open women’s player Tyla Nathan-Wong in the lead up to the touch world cup in Scotland next week.
This week’s Mana Shield challenge sees the boys take over the airwaves as they attempt to run the Mai FM breakfast show by themselves. Both teams get a separate day to do it and the one with the most phone, text and Facebook votes will win.
Will Oz be able to read the news and what about Ruben with the weather? – Tune in to HYUNDAI CODE tomorrow from 8.30pm to find out who wins and who must take the loser’s consequence.
Meanwhile, the actual Mai FM breakfast host and former pop singer K’Lee is performing live on the HYUNDAI CODE set.
Watch the show this week to find out how you can go in the draw to win a Panasonic 42-inch plasma television.
