Nelson Based Recording Artist on Global Music Tour

After returning from performing at Norfolk Island Country music Festival on the 22nd of May. Nelson, New Zealand based recording artist Aly Cook continues in June on a tour to promote her debut album “Brand New Day”.(released on ODE in NZ and WJO in Australia.)

The video for the debut single “Spend it” (stuck in the red zone after the Christchurch Earthquake) finally begins airplay on Sky 63 music channel after debuting on the Good Morning Show on TV1 http://tvnz.co.nz/good-morning/s2011-e090511-alycook-video-4161531 along with a live performance on the 9th of May. Aly also features in June NEXT magazine on a feature on New Zealand’s Ultimate Woman.

The tour begins when she flys to Sydney on the 10th of June and on to the Blue Water Country Music Festival to perform as support to leading Australian country music artist Beccy Cole. http://www.bluewatercountrymusic.com.au/

Then on the 14 departing Sydney for Towerfest in Yorkshire on the 19th of June http://www.towerfest.co.uk , A live webcast concert from Louhans France on the 2nd of July on http://www.kiwisofa.tv and finally the 31st Americana International to an expected audience of 70,000. http://www.americana-international.co.uk on the 9th of July.

During the festivals Aly has been filming for a independently produced documentary called “Strumming around the world” which will be released on DVD in 2012 http://www.futuresentertainment.net
