New World on the Hunt for Legendary Netball Volunteers

New World is on the hunt for the most legendary netball volunteers, and is once again calling for Kiwis to nominate their local netball heroes. Now in its third year, the annual New World Netball Volunteer Awards aim to recognise the many volunteers who contribute to the success of netball throughout New Zealand by giving away a total of $50,000 worth of New World gift cards.

For the first time nominations can be submitted online through the New World website, making it even easier for those involved in the sport to shine the spotlight on the most deserving volunteers. Nominations can also be submitted through participating Netball Centres around the country.

New World has a strong tradition of supporting local communities, and as part of its sponsorship of Netball New Zealand and the Silver Ferns, New World are delighted to be able to reward these volunteers. Without their help, a lot of netball simply wouldn’t happen.

Do you know a legendary netball volunteer? Whether it’s the coach, umpire, canteen team, team driver, or person who cuts the oranges, New World think they deserve a big pat on the back.
