Artrium Gallery Announces
Grand Opening Exhibition
Artrium Gallery is a new art gallery offering quality, contemporary art by some of New Zealand’s most talented new and emerging artists at affordable prices.
The opening exhibition will feature artists from Christchurch, Wellington and Auckland. Artrium Gallery’s opening exhibition will run from Thursday 5th May (5pm) to Thursday 2 June and feature Ashley Brown, Amy MacKinnon, Josh Palmer, Susanne Van Tuinen & Helen Williamson.
Nestled in the historic district of Tinakori Road Village in Thorndon, Artrium Gallery is part of a community of shops from antiques to cafes to beauty therapy, restaurants along with other art galleries. Tinakori Road Village is located between Parliament and the Botanical Gardens, only minutes from Lambton Quay.
Ami Brown, an avid artist for over 20 years, and her husband, Norm (a marketing professional), are the brains behind the gallery. They wanted to offer a genuine gallery venue for new and emerging artists—without any upfront costs to them. (Something most emerging artist don’t generally have.) They also wanted to offer affordable, quality artworks available to everyone in the community. Artrium Gallery is dedicated to bringing Fine Art to everyone, even offering creative payment options.
