Josh Junior now 11th in world
Wellington sailor Josh Junior finished twelfth in the 115-strong Laser fleet at the fourth round of the Sailing World
Cup at Hyeres, France (24-29th April). Consistent top-twenty results in the first four days of racing put him within a
whisker of a top-ten finish. Junior struggled in light winds on April 28th, dropping him back to twelfth place overall.
The result puts Junior in eleventh place in the World Sailing Cup, part of his build up toward Olympic success in 2012.

Josh Junior is Wellington born and raised. He represents two Wellington yacht clubs: the Worser Bay Boating Club and the
Royal Port Nicholson Yacht Club.
The Laser is a one-person sailing dinghy, one of several types of yacht used in the Olympic Games.
