I Heart BATS
Winter may have hit Wellington, but summer returns to BATS
this week with the opening of I Heart Camping. The
astroturf has been rolled out, and the tree and rope swing
are being rigged as we speak - it really does look like a
classic Kiwi camping ground in there. Reminisce about those
long, hot summer days of a couple of weeks ago and book
yourself in to see this sweet little (un)romantic comedy!
Opening night and Friday night are already booked out!
We
also have a bunch of cool bands hitting the Pit Bar this
week, so wander on down and check out some sweet NZ tunes.
And strap yourself in - the NZ International Comedy Fest
is hitting BATS in May! Some performances are already close
to booking out, so check out the full BATS programme and book yourself
in! BATS is stoked to have a 100% all Kiwi line up,
featuring a range of familiar faces and some BATS first
timers!
See you at the
theatre!

A hilarious look
at a Kiwi summer tradition, I Camping is an unromantic
comedy for anyone who has ever pitched a tent. Torrential
rain. Outrageous neighbours. Stolen baked beans. Third
degree burns. No privacy. It's in tents.. Featuring Sophie
Henderson (Outrageous Fortune), Curtis Vowell (Bare),
Michelle Blundell (Piece of My Heart) and Gareth
Williams (The Lonesome Buckwhips)
