$15,000 to Be Won at the Royal Easter Show’s Talent Quest
To celebrate 100 years of the Royal Easter Show at ASB Showgrounds, we’re running an amateur talent quest with $15,000
in prize money!
The Hershey’s Classic Star Talent Quest is a huge opportunity for any amateur entertainer or group. First prize is
$10,000, second is $3,000 and third is $2,000!
It’s free to enter and you can do so now until 5pm Tuesday 19 April 2011.
So get in quick!
The judges are stars themselves!
Chaz Cummings wowed judges and fans with his dance-floor antics, and took out first prize in New Zealand's Got Talent (hosted by
Classic Hits Radio’s very own Jason Reeves!).
Mandy Pickering won the hearts of our nation and the last series of 'Stars in Their Eyes' with her captivating performance of Sarah
McLachlan’s hit song ‘Angel’.
Steven James is a talented musician, producer and talent spotter. Think of him as Simon Cowell, only much nicer!
And a special guest judge from Classic Hits will join the three judges on the final day (Monday 25 April) to help decide
the winner!
Incidentally, Chaz and Mandy will also be performing throughout the Royal Easter Show’s five-day family, fun-filled
extravaganza – but not in the Talent Quest!
Shortlisted contestants will need to be available for show times: 10.30am - midday / 1pm – 2.30pm / 3.30pm – 5.00pm
between 21 and 25 April 2011.
Winners will receive their cheques on finals day (25 April 2011 – yes the Royal Easter Show is open Anzac Day!).
