I'd Love to Have a Beer at BATS
Just when I thought I
could relax, it's all systems go at BATS this week! Brain
Damage is packing into the theatre as we speak, and this
unique performance installation means you will engage with
BATS in a whole new way. They have already taken half the
seats out of the auditorium for a start. Bard Productions
are known for their unique works (think Frogs Under the
Waterfront) so this is definitely worth checking out.
Limited tickets for each performance, so book now.
We also have two special events this week - Skoolnite premiers in the Pit Bar on Wednesday night and promises to be a fun half hour chat show featuring BATS favourites Paul Waggott, Jonny Potts and Kate Clarkin. Another BATS fave is also popping in for a special one-off show on Sunday evening - I'd Love to Have a Beer With Duncan will be well worth checking out, not least for the chance to see special musical guest Lawrence Arabia!
As well as this, Fuddy Meers continues - great reviews have come in for this charming little dark comedy so make sure you check it out before it closes on Saturday.
After all that theatre you will probably need some kind of holiday, so it's a good thing we are dialing it down next week with the opening of I Heart Camping before a well deserved Easter holiday.
We had a visit from Simon Pegg on the weekend as well. The guy from Shaun of the Dead. Yeah. He did a show here 15 years ago and just wanted to stop in and say hi. We love our famous alumni. And they love us!
See you at the theatre!
