Kiwi’s save big with Grabaseat reverse auctions!

With flights from Auckland to Christchurch being snapped up for just $2 and flights from Auckland to Taupo going at $1.50, it’s easy to see why grabaseat’s new reverse auctions have got Kiwi’s hooked.

Air New Zealand launched the auctions on Monday at 9am, with customers eagerly watching as domestic and international flights ticked down in price until it was too hard to resist

Return flights to Vancouver have been snapped up for just $533.50, while one-way flights to LA have been purchased for $257.

Duane Perrott, Manager Grabaseat is thrilled with the results so far and looks forward to what the newest feature on the grabaseat site holds for the future.

“Customers have quickly embraced the reverse auction concept and many are getting great deals. It’s a fun way for us to sell seats that otherwise would be empty,” he says.

Destinations up for grabs tomorrow include Queenstown, Napier, Brisbane and San Francisco.
