Christchurch Being Rebuilt on Old Books
Sandhurst, Berkshire March 2, 2011 10 Out-of-Print childrens books have been dedicated as fundraisers for the Christchurch Earthquake Appeal by Abela Publishing.
Abela Publishing, a UK based social enterprise publisher, run by expat Kiwi John Halsted, has dedicated 10 out-of-print books as fundraisers for the Christchurch Earthquake Appeal.
£3.00, approx NZ$6.45, from every copy sold via the Abela website will be donated to the Christchurch Earthquake Appeal in co-ordination with and through the British Red Cross. Books purchased in Canada or the USA will see US$3.50 donated and for European purchases 3.25 will be donated.
These books are republications of out-of-print titles and will be shipped "hot-off-the press" direct to customer's home addresses. The dedicated titles are:

The 10^th book, "Legends of MA-UI" (W Westervelt, 1910) ISBN 9781907256950, a new publication, is due for release on 12 March and will be added to the collection. It contains 15 myths and legends of the adventures of Maui, a Polynesian demi god.
