Gemmell And Leading Triathletes Band Together For Christchurch

We heart Christchurch!

4k relief fun run and walk

Come and show your love for Christchurch in this fun participation event on Friday evening in Wanaka, get alongside Olympians and top elite athletes from all over the world as we combine to raise as much as we can to help those in Christchurch who have lost more than we can imagine.


Emphasis of the race is to complete the 2 laps of Pembroke Park, starting at 6pm and finishing under the finish line gantry soon after. Our Olympians will be running and walking alongside you all as we complete the 4(ish)km to show our support and respect for those in Christchurch.


Leading triathletes and athletes including leading para swimmer Sophie Pascoe will be on the line, not racing but running, jogging and participating alongside everyone, encouraging them through the course.


We heart Christchurch - so can you!

Entry: $10 per adult and $5 per school child (including high school)


Date: Friday 4th March


Where: Pembroke Park, Wanaka


Registration: 5pm onwards in the 'Summer send off' registration tent


Event start: 6pm
