Kirk, Crane & Beyond..William Shatner Live

Kirk, Crane & Beyond..William Shatner Live

No one can tell a story like William Shatner.
After almost 60 years as an actor he has become one of the most beloved entertainers in the world.

Join the man himself for one, mad, glorious evening, packed with anecdotes, lessons learned and pearls of wisdom. With his wry sense of humour, this Actor, Producer, Director, Musician and Celebrity Pitchman will take you on an outrageously entertaining journey through Captain Kirk, Denny Crane, starring in the second only Esperanto movie ever made (for good reason) and auctioning his kidney stone.

Through his long career Shatner has worked with many great film stars. His role as Captain James T. Kirk in Star Trek, one of the most popular television shows in history, catapulted him to iconic status and his dry comedic talents are legendary. His Emmy-award winning role of the eccentric but highly capable attorney Denny Crane in Boston Legal brought adoration by a new generation of television viewers, and his portrayal was described by the NY Times Magazine as essentially “William Shatner the man...playing William Shatner the character playing the character Denny Crane, who was playing the character William Shatner!”

For one night only in Auckland, Shatner offers listeners the remarkable, full story of his life and explains how he got to be, well, everywhere, followed by an informal couch chat with a guest interviewer.
