Isuzu D-Max wins in Europe
Isuzu D-Max has been named the world’s best 4WD ute for the third year in a row in an important European contest.
The tough all-purpose vehicle picked up the Allradchampion 2010 award after an exhausting TV and print voting process.
Organised by Moser Media out of Austria, the award is decided by readers of the group’s German-language magazine and popular TV show. Both aim to spread information about two-wheeled and four-wheel off-roaders.
“This is a prestigious award which is watched by all the manufacturers, as it gives a guide to what real, everyday drivers are thinking about the vehicles,” commented the New Zealand head of Isuzu Utes, Greg MacDonald.
“To win the award three years in a row is testament to the quality, toughness and driver-friendliness of the D-Max.
“It’s a message which our dealers nationwide are telling us increasingly resonates with Kiwi owners.
“Whether they are farmers, tradespeople, weekend warriors or families carrying people and household items, D-Max fits the lives of Kiwis,” said Mr MacDonald.
