‘Walking with Dinosaurs’ to roam New Zealand

Auckland, New Zealand, 9 February 2011 – After ruling the earth for 200 million years, the dinosaurs are back. Walking with Dinosaurs – The Arena Spectacular, which has played to over 7 million people around the World, is finally coming to New Zealand and Visa debit, credit and prepaid cardholders can snap up advance tickets.

The show features 20 life-sized dinosaurs, including a seven-metre tall Tyrannosaurus Rex, in what will be one of the most exciting and groundbreaking shows ever seen in New Zealand. Based on the multi award-winning BBC television series, internationally renowned designers have worked with scientists to create the arena spectacle, taking the audience on a journey through the evolution of the giant beasts. Walking with Dinosaurs – The Arena Spectacular commences its New Zealand season on 29 June, 2011 exclusively at Auckland’s Vector Arena.

Tickets will go on sale to the general public on 11 February.

Visa cardholders in New Zealand are eligible for free membership of Visa Entertainment, a cardholder benefit program providing access to special offers from some major entertainment brands.
