This Week at BATS - 07-02-11 to 13-02-11
It's all go as usual at BATS. Broken China had a smashing opening on Saturday (and yes, I did mean to make a really bad joke there) while think of all the fun you'll find in the rubber room is packing in as we speak, with lots of chairs and a security camera. Hmmmm.... Both of these shows are from acclaimed companies, so make sure you don't miss out on this exciting new New Zealand work!
Make sure you pick up your Active Addict Card for the upcoming Fringe Festival, available from Radio Active. They are only $1 and entitle you to some awesome deals around town, including being able to see all BATS shows for $12 and some sweet deals in the Pit Bar. They are strictly limited so make sure you get in quick.
And if you want to be in to win free stuff (which I know you always are...), take 5 minutes next time you're at BATS to fill in an audience survey. Not only will we find out things about BATS supporters that we can use to make the theatre more awesome for you, you wil go in a monthly draw to win cool things like free tickets and bar tabs. Ask any of our friendly box office staffers for more info!
If you're looking for a bit of Gothic fun this weekend check out the Love in the Time of Vampires Costume Ball on Saturday night at Club Ivy. This fundraising event will feature previews of a number of upcoming Fringe shows, so should be a good night out.
See you at the theatre!

An unexpected meeting between two women in a Remuera kitchen in the 1950's leads to the chance of escape from their stifling existence.
