For his anniversary collection, Ashley Fogel takes his cue from the decade when A-line skirts were all the rage and

Cold Play 2011.
Cold Play is a sexy mix of revival fashion for this coming season. While inspired by the shapes and textures of the
fifties, colours and fabrics are modern and fanciful.
“The fifties showcased the female form in a way that acknowledged and enhanced the female silhouette to perfection,”
says Ashley. “Our aim was to create a winter wardrobe that captured the pared-down chic of fifties styling, while also
highlighting the more playful and fun side of today’s contemporary woman.”
The anniversary collection is about a woman of form and substance. Ladylike dresses, demure hemlines and cinched in
waists hark back to the age of the sexy, stylish and powerful leading ladies of the 50s such as Marilyn Munroe, Ava
Gardner and Lauren Becall. Ashley Fogel knows how to accentuate curves and his LBD is a real trump card and a signature
item of the collection.
The winter 2011 range incorporates super-luxe fabrics such as cashmere, silks and lace as well as classic, clean,
confident lines to create irreverent and timeless garments. The collection is instant chic with instant standover
appeal.
Cold Play reflects a unique palette of colour, specially selected by Ashley Fogel to ignite any cold wintry day. The
warm stylishness of Tiffany blue and brilliant eye-popping raspberry and ruby red stand in delicious contrast to camel,
biscotti and warm winter creams.
