APN Outdoor Turn up the Heat for ‘Friends in High Places’
New Zealand, February 2, 2011- APN Outdoor today announced it will be holding an exclusive outdoor Summer Party, the first in a series of ‘Friend’s in
High places’ (FIHP) networking events scheduled for 2011.
APN Outdoor’s Summer Party, the third in sequence since the launch of FIHP in June 2010, will be held within the grounds
of Mecca Stonehouse in Mission Bay on Thursday the 24th of February.
Kicking off at 5pm with a red carpet call, the Summer Party will also feature an exclusive outdoor concert by some of
New Zealand’s biggest musical acts. Guests will be treated to live performances from indie rockers Clap Clap Riot, drum
and bass duo State of Mind, and funk/reggae sensations Tahuna Breaks.
To date, more than 400 clients and partners attended the launch of ‘Friends in High Places’ in June 2010 featuring Dane
Rumble, and hundreds joined in to check out the winner of Advertising’s Next Top Model last September.

Invitations to APN Outdoor’s FIHP Summer Party are currently being distributed. All invitees must RSVP through www.friendsinhighplaces.co.nz before February 17 to attend.
In line with the Summer Party theme, guests are also being invited to upload their favourite summer pictures via the
FIHP website for a chance to win. All nominated summer shots will be rotated on a large screen during the night and

The top ten images will each win a ‘Summer Pack’ courtesy of Lion Breweries and the best summer shot of all will also
receive a luxury weekend away for two to Waikehe Island - all entrants must be invitees and be over 18 years of age.
