We provide a community hall, meeting room and Wellington's only community gallery showcasing a range of artists and crafts people, from the established to the emerging. Thistle Hall is located on the corner of Cuba and Arthur streets. The shows on at Thistle Hall Community Gallery are run by the artists who hire it.

Disjunct: An Exploration of Sound & Photography by Vic Parsons & Tammy Williams.

OPENING: 5.00 - 8.00pm Tuesday 1 February.
OPEN: Tuesday 1 - Saturday 5 February.

Disjunct is an exhibition of work by photographer Tammy Williams and sound designer Vic Parsons.

The photographs comprise four disparate series which are coupled with manipulated field recordings by Parsons.

The images and sounds from the central photographic series are spare and haunting, showing the aftermath of an apocalyptic event.

This is first major collaboration between Williams and Parsons. While their work is independent each ultimately extends and enhances the understanding of the other.
