ARK presents Live at the Islands Motutapu
In association with ZM, Yealands Estate Wine and grabaseat
Take some stunning island locations, add New Zealand’s top musicians, mix in some great conservation causes, garnish with sun and serve up one amazing kiwi summer experience….
The inaugural Live at the Islands, Motutapu concert takes place on Saturday 12 February. The full day festival line up includes this year’s Best Solo Female Artist Tui winner Anika Moa, Nathan Haines and the Dream Band, Minuit, Kirsten Morrell, Wellington International Ukulele Orchestra, Helen and the Birds, Lisa Crawley, Janine Foster and ZM’s DJ General Lee.
“We are proud to be the first to present a concert on beautiful Motutapu”, says co-director Jackie Sanders, “It’s an enormous undertaking in terms of logistics to put an all-day festival on a pest free island, but we know the experience for the concert-goers and artists alike will be outstanding”
What could make an already glorious
concert experience even better? Access to your own reserved
area, bar and toilets, a complimentary drink or two on
arrival, plus some tasty island platters to nibble on? Enjoy

Conservation & Bio Security
ARK concerts support local conservation projects and we will be shouting about The Motutapu Restoration Trust at this gig. Teams of passionate volunteers are ensuring that this jewel in the Hauraki Gulf becomes New Zealand’s largest island sanctuary We think what they have been doing is pretty special, so we are pleased to be supporting them via the Live at the Islands events.
The island is now pest free, so remember to Stop, Check and Go! Before leaving the mainland, please stop and check that your clothes, footwear, bags, boat and camping gear are clean of covert rats/mice, ants, soil and weed seeds and then go have some fun! Easy.
