Fifth place for Josh Junior in Melbourne
Josh Junior has beaten ISAF sailor of the year and World Laser number one Tom Slingsby to finish third in the final race of round one of the ISAF World Cup, held in Melbourne from December 12 to December 19. The twenty-year-old Wellingtonian struggled in very light winds on Thursday, but stepped up his light-weather performance for Saturday’s ten-boat final. On overall points, he finished fifth in the sixty-six-strong fleet.
