Movember Announces Evening Of Revelry

We’re coming up to that time of year again, the finale of Movember- just remember it’s still not too late to register and donate and then there’s end of month celebrations to look forward to.

Gala Parte’s will be held across New Zealand (and around the world) to thank Mo Bros and Sistas for joining the fight and helping to raise awareness and funds for men’s health in 2010.

Mo Bros (dressed to suit their Mo) and Mo Sistas (dressed to suit their Mo Bro) come together for one night to show off their moustache growing efforts, celebrate the Mo and compete for a number of accolades – including Best Mo in Character, Miss Movember and, of course, Man of Movember 2010.

Come Movember 27, 2010 Northern Steamship Co. will host Auckland Mo Bros and Sistas, accompanied by tunes from crowd favourites the Sweet Mix Kids. On the same night in Wellington Mo supporters will converge on Four Kings Bar for a celebration of fine moustachery.

Mo judging will take place between 7.00pm and 9.00pm in Auckland and 9.00pm and 10.00pm in Wellington with an expert panel circulating, taking note and placing their vote on best in class.

Mo Bros and Sistas unable to make the pilgrimage to Auckland’s Northern Steamship Co. or Wellington’s Four Kings Bar on Movember 27 can register at www.movember.co.nz to throw their own Mo Party.

Mo Bros who have surpassed $100 in donations will be rewarded with a complimentary ticket to the Gala Parte. Those who have broken the $200 mark will receive two tickets for their efforts.
