Hailed as Australasia's most popular kids' TV event, the Nickelodeon Australian Kids' Choice Awards (KCAs) returns to Kiwi screens with a star-studded line-up of slimed-up celebs hosting, presenting, performing and partying hard!
This year's Nickelodeon Australia Kids' Choice Awards (KCAs) gave kids the slime of their lives with the famed Orange Carpet attracting an exciting flow of celebs in Sydney followed by a spectacular show that airs in New Zealand on Nickelodeon (SKY channel 041) this weekend (Saturday 23 October @ 7pm).
Among the highlights you can catch on screen this year were Fave TV Show for Nickelodeon's iCarly, Hottest Hottie went to Justin Bieber, Katy Perry won Fave Song and Fave Movie Star went to Miley Cyrus.
Rove was winner in the Awesome Aussie category, he revelled in the slimey excitement making an unexpected appearance from the slime fountain. This year included another new feature - the Slime Room - a hot tub filled with warm green slime, for the enjoyment of those brave enough to take the plunge! An unprecedented 6 tonnes of slime was used at this year's awards, double the amount of any previous Aussie KCAs.
A star studded cast of presenters included Australian X-Factor judges Guy Sebastian and Natalie Imbruglia. Also strutting their stuff as presenters were the final three contestants from Australia's Next Top Model, Former Miss Universe Australia and Dancing with the Stars celebrity Rachael Finch, the winner and runner-up of Masterchef Australia. Adding a Kiwi flavour to the mix, the glamorous ANTM judge Charlotte Dawson and Australian Idol winner Stan Walker were on hand to perform presenting duties too.
